A visit to Franz Jevne State Park, the smallest state park in Minnesota, is another lovely locale with gorgeous river views and you can even see Canada from here. Hiking or fishing at this park provides some much-needed time away from daily life. Where can I find a quiet place to retreat to in Minnesota? There are many wonderful overnight stays around the state that allow you to retreat from the woes of life for a bit. At Hammarlund Nursery in Esko, a working vineyard and plant nursery, there is an Airbnb you can rent on the property. Here you will feel worlds away from it all as you explore the 15 acres of gorgeous, lush greenery on the property, swim in one of the ponds, and take in a sauna.
