St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 is the oldest cemetery in New Orleans, and worth your time to visit. There are several notable New Orleanians buried here, including the Voodoo Queen herself, Marie Laveau. You’ll need a licensed tour guide to enter the cemetery, as it has been closed to the general public for a few years now.
