Arizona’s largest corn maze is opening for the season this weekend, and we couldn’t be more ecstatic! With 20 acres of head-scratching twists and turns, this family-friendly attraction at Apple Annie’s Orchard in Wilcox is the best fall activity of the year.

With two levels of difficulty, the maze is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.

Facebook/AppleAnniesOrchard Run through the easy version with the kiddos and come back with a group of friends to tackle the real beast. It takes about two hours on average to make it all the way through, so be sure to bring plenty of water with you!

“Passports” with questions that correspond to directions help guide you to the finish line (when answered correctly, that is).

Facebook/AppleAnniesOrchard Choose from a dozen topics with 10 questions each scattered throughout the maze. Give them all your very best shot, because a wrong answer means following an arrow that leads to a dead end.

The maze is open daily through October 31st.

Google/Sarah Strachan Tickets are $6 for children ages 3-11 and $8 for visitors age 12 and up.

Although most people visit to navigate the life-sized stalks of corn, plenty of other activities round out the fall festival at Apple Annie’s.

Google/Benjamin de la Garza Enjoy hayrides, adorable photo-ops, a pumpkin patch, and plenty of delicious food. Even if you arrive as soon as the gates open, spending an entire day here is effortless.

With towering mountains lining the horizon, this scene couldn’t be any more picture-perfect.

Facebook/AppleAnniesOrchard That said, fall in the valley can be just as chilly as it is beautiful. Don’t forget to bundle up!

If trudging around in a field to find the perfect pumpkin doesn’t sound like fun to you, there are hundreds of pre-picked pumpkins in the produce barn.

Google/Daniel Lefevre You’ll find a ton of shapes, sizes, and colors to choose from, so each member of the family can take home the one that feels like the perfect fit.

It wouldn’t be a fall celebration without some festive eats, and your taste buds in for a delight.

Facebook/AppleAnniesOrchard Homemade cider donuts, pumpkin pie, bread, and ice cream are just a few of the many scrumptious treats served at the farm. Our mouths are watering already!

You don’t want to find yourself in the field after sundown (not because it’s haunted - click here for a list of corn mazes sure to chill you to the bone), so use your best judgment when you visit; 20 acres is a lot of land to navigate in the dark!
