Things are looking up! Harrison will be hosting the 25th Annual Celebration In The Sky, a festival showcasing the state’s championship hot air balloon races. The festivities are coming up on April 16th – 18th, 2021 at the Boone County Regional Airport. Let’s float along and learn more about this year’s happenings:

This high-flying festival began back in 1995 and features Arkansas’ Hot Air Balloon State Championship. The events will begin at 4 PM on April 16th, 2021 and end that Sunday morning. These giant balloons are magical to see, whether it’s your first time to the fest or 25th.
Facebook/Arkansas State Hot Air Balloon Championship Races The 30+ balloons featured this year come from all over the U.S. including Arizona, New Mexico, and Louisiana! The races will be held during the day but don’t miss the dazzling Balloon Glow that takes place after sunset.
The hot air balloons certainly take the spotlight but they’re not the only thing to see!
Facebook/Arkansas State Hot Air Balloon Championship Races Kids can compete in the paper airplane competition and families can even take a ride in a helicopter! There’s also a cornhole tournament with a cash prize.
There will also be live music throughout the event.
Facebook/Boone County Regional Airport Music will be happening on the main stage on Friday and Saturday. This year’s line up has a mix of quite a few genres, too!
In addition to the live music, the festival also has all sorts of vendors.
