With patriotic spots like Arlington National Cemetery and the Pentagon, you’ll need an entire day to take them in. You’ll also have a phenomenal choice of places to eat, shop, and have a drink in between your more academic experiences. This combination makes Arlington a commonly overlooked but fantastic destination for a day trip.
