If you’re in the mood for a fun outdoor getaway in New Jersey, you’re in luck: There are so many amazing places to go camping throughout the state! You can explore New Jersey’s many forests, mountains, and lakes in everything from a camper van to a cabin to a tent.

A personal favorite of ours is actually a lesser-known one: Parvin State Park, which offers a beautiful, waterfront camping area.

There are 54 tent and trailer sites located on the south shore of Parvin Lake.

Looking for more of a “glamping” experience? There are 18 cabins available to rent.

Each cabin can fit four people and comes with some nice amenities.

Parvin State Park is a wonderful place to camp, too, because there is so much fun to be found here.
