The Blackland Prairie Trail is actually a section of the Natchez Trace National Scenic Trail.

The section spans six miles of beautiful scenery. The trail is also dog-friendly, so your best friend can tag along.

There are a couple of crossings to be aware of during your time on the Blackland Prairie Trail. Be wary of the railroad crossing located north of Chickasaw Village. Look both ways before crossing.

There are a few areas on the trail as well that would lead you to different hiking sections as well.
