If you’re in the wonderful town of Homer on Kachemak Bay, there’s a charming little boardwalk trail in Alaska to hike that’s easy enough for the whole family to enjoy. This is a short walk with just enough scenery to keep it interesting, but not too hard that the littles ones in your group will find it difficult. Pick a beautiful morning and head out on this trail!
Out in Homer at the Carl E. Wynn Nature Center is an easy boardwalk trail in Alaska.
Carl E Wynn Nature Center / AllTrails It takes you through the popular foliage of the area, and keeps you up above the trail on a beautiful boardwalk. This is a great hike to take no matter the weather, because the boardwalk will keep you out of the mud.
The trail itself is easy to follow.

The trail is rated “easy,” and you’ll find that even the tiniest members of your group will have no trouble completing it.
