Every year the Cadron Creek Outfitters host a unique event on the water.
Facebook/Cadron Creek Outfitters Their Annual Full Moon Boating Excursion will be taking place on June 15th, 2019. In addition to the starry-night tour on the creek, the outfitters will also be holding a canoe decorating contest. Whoever has the best LED light show will win a prize.
The tour celebrates the full strawberry moon and the nearing of summer.
Facebook/Cadron Creek Outfitters This full moon earned its name from the Algonquin tribes as a reminder to pick the ripe wild strawberries in the area. In other parts of the world this moon is known as the Full Rose Moon or the Honey Moon.
