Camp Next To Chimney Bluffs State Park At This Campground In New York

Chimney Bluffs State Park is one of the more popular attractions in New York. The nearly 600-acre park is right on the shores of Lake Ontario and features large rock formations. It’s great for a day trip, but it’s also a fantastic place to enjoy a few days’ respite from real life. If you’re wanting to disconnect and go camping near Chimney Bluffs State Park in New York, it doesn’t get much better than Lake Bluff Campground. Just one mile away from the park, this family campground offers RV sites, tent sites, and cabins for rent.

The state park is named for its bluffs that were formed thousands of years ago from glacier movement. Some of the bluffs are over 150 feet in height.

Located in Wayne County, Lake Bluff Campground has easy access to Chimney Bluffs and multiple bays within a 20-minute radius. It’s so easy to relax, go fishing, or boating here.

With miniature golf, a heated pool, horseshoe pits, and shuffleboard courts, there’s plenty to do without even leaving the campground.

One Lake Bluff Campground amenity that we love is their farmers market. The campground has an arrangement with several local farmers to sell locally-grown produce at the stand.

No RV? No problem! While the main draw to Lake Bluff is the 140 RV campsites, there are wooded and non-wooded tent sites available, too. If you prefer more of a glamping experience, they also have cabins available for rent that sleep up to four.
