Spring is underway and this year looks like it’s going to be quite a bit different than 2020. Many of the beloved activities and festivals will return, allowing us to start packing our schedules with fun again. If you’re still on the lookout for more fun this season, plan a visit to the Pennsylvania Maple Festival, an annual tradition that’s jam-packed with family-friendly activities and events.
The Pennsylvania Maple Festival returns to Meyersdale for its 74th year, and the fun runs April 24-25, 2021, and from April 28 to May 2, 2021, at the Festival Park Complex.

Bring a hearty appetite with you to the festival, especially if you’re a fan of real maple syrup. The festival will host pancake meals with fluffy pancakes drenched in maple syrup.

Don’t worry if you get a bit hungry or thirsty during your day of fun. The festival will also host a full fleet of concession stands in Festival Park, on Center Street, and on Main Street.

Some of the highlights of the festival, including a parade and the Maple Race, will take place on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

Whatever day or days you decide to visit, you’ll have plenty to do. Stop by the multi-day Quilt Show, or check out the Tractor Show.

If you’re a fan of cars, make it a point to check out the Car Show, set for both April 25 and May 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days.

Sample a collection of alcoholic beverages at the Sit & Sip Garden where you can sit back, relax, and enjoy a few drinks. Admission to the Sit & Sip Garden is $10 per person.

Tickets to Festival Park, which includes admission to the Quilt Show, cost $5 for adults and $1 for kids 6 to 12 years. Kiddos 5 and younger are free.
