“The time has finally come to welcome you back to Colorado’s only combination theme and water park,” gushes Elitch Gardens via a March 29th press release, sharing that they have been working closely with the City and County of Denver and will be able to re-open with new health and safety guidelines in places, including a max capacity of 18% (or 3,200 guests) each day.

In addition to the limited capacity, Elitches will also enforce social distancing, face coverings, hand sanitizing stations, and frequent cleaning and disinfecting by staff.

Please note: Unlike past seasons that permit walk-up admission, 2021 attendance will be by reservation only.

Opened in 1890, Elitch Gardens was originally known as Elitch’s Zoological Gardens before losing the zoo portion and continually transforming into the amusement-only park that we know and love today.
