Although the candy shop was opened in 1959 by Wally Cullomore, the cottage’s history begins long before that. Originally constructed in 1922, the adorable little cottage has housed everything from a weaving shop to a dress shop.

The shop has seen many owners over the years but the present owners, Lanny and Linda Rose, have been running the show since 1980. With the cottage consistently named among the best candy stores in America by the likes of USA Today, they’ve certainly been doing a great job!
