Crystal Cove State Park In Socal Is The Best Place To Find Seashells

There’s nothing better than seeing all of the seashells wash up on sure after high tide. It’s like a treasure trove scattered across the sand. If you’re looking for a great place to spot seashells, Crystal Cove State Park in Laguna Beach has an array of beautiful shells on its shore.

Keep in mind, you are not allowed to collect shells, sand, rocks, or any living creatures on this beach. However, you can collect driftwood up to 50 pounds and sea glass. So, enjoy looking for seashells and taking in the scenery, without disturbing the natural habitat.

When you arrive at Crystal Cove State Park, you can expect to pay $15 per vehicle for a day pass. The park is open from 6 a.m.-sunset.

The beach stretches for 3.2 miles down the coast and typically has smaller crowds. It’s a great place to escape and enjoy the ocean for the day.
