Dairy Palace has been serving up ice cream across from the New Castle Airport since 1954, when it originally opened as a Dairy Queen franchise.

When Dairy Queen wanted to update the shop to match their national standards in 1970, the Parkers bought out their franchise and kept it as their own spot, just as it had been for years.
Today, you can enjoy the same classic ice cream the Parkers have been serving for generations - but you’ll probably have to wait in line to enjoy it!
