Welcome to Damascus, Virginia! Fondly known as Trail Town USA, this beloved destination is located at the intersection of multiple major trails. In short, it’s a hiker’s paradise.

Perhaps one of the most famous nearby trails is the Virginia Creeper Trail. Stretching from Abingdon to White Top, this multi-use trail offers some of the most exquisite and varied scenery in Virginia.

Another intersecting trail is the famous Appalachian Trail, which runs from Georgia to Maine. Thru-hikers cherish Damascus as a friendly trail town with some of the best home-cooking in the region.
