Deer Skull Falls and Wolfpen Falls Loop, which has a moderate rating, is a 6.7-mile loop trail that’s tucked away in North Alabama’s Sipsey Wilderness area near Haleyville. The Sipsey Wilderness is located within the Bankhead National Forest and is one of the South’s top hiking destinations.

Even though Alabama is filled with many hiking trails, this particular one has been known to attract fewer people. In fact, Insider named it Alabama’s “Least Congested Hiking Trail” in 2020.
