Drawing tens of thousands of people and hundreds of vendors each year, the Prairie Arts Festival is one of the biggest arts and crafts fests in the nation! Fun for the entire family, the one-day event includes more than just great shopping. There are also kids’ activities, live entertainment, and more.

The first fest took place in 1979. Since then, it’s been held every year on the Saturday before Labor Day, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

During the event, roughly 300 vendors from around the nation set up shop in downtown West Point.
