Adventure’s never too far away when you live in and around Pittsburgh. We’re fortunate, in fact, that new attractions open all of the time. One of those attractions, Dragon’s Den in Pittsburgh, offers two challenge courses – with floating bridges, balance beams, and a zipline – that are designed to inspire kids and their families to have a good time and to learn a bit about themselves at the same time.

The former Catholic church features two challenge courses - a lower course for kiddos five and older and a higher course geared toward those 10 and older.

The lower course mimics the upper course, so those who use it can enjoy a similar experience. Anyone, including kiddos, can use the lower course.

Whichever course you choose, get ready for a ton of fun. The challenge course features 25 bridges, balance beams, and crossings. Each is between three and five feet above ground, so it’s not too high.

One of the highlights of the challenge course is, undoubtedly, the Soaring Dragons. Soar 17 feet above the ground on a zipline. A climbing wall, that stands 20 feet high, will also open soon.
