Jardin du Soleil is a certified organic lavender farm, planted in 1999 on land that was part of a dairy farm established in the 1880s.

In 2011, the Schiefens packed up their 26-foot trailer along with their two young children and hit the road for a great adventure.

They loved it so much, they bought a lavender farm and decided to stick around for awhile.

In July, they’ll be open from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. to give everyone some extra shopping time.

While the Sequim Lavender Festival is sadly taking one more year of a hiatus before it returns next summer, you can still go and check out the majority of Sequim’s lavender farms. Jardin du Soleil is particularly delightful, probably because of its on-site lavender shop featuring practically every lavender product you could ever imagine.
