For over 70 years, this sculpture park and museum have been the premier venue for those who enjoy and appreciate art.

Spanning an area of 30 acres, deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts is the largest sculpture park in New England. It is located on the former estate of Julian de Cordova, an entrepreneur and art collector.

In 1930, Mr. de Cordova gifted his estate to the town of Lincoln who would turn the estate into a public art museum. The DeCordova and Dana Museum opened its doors in 1950 with a focus on modern and contemporary works by local New England artists.

In 1989, the museum’s name was changed to deCordova Museum and Sculpture Park and then in 2009, the name was changed to deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum with a focus on the outdoor sculpture park.

deCordova’s world-renowned outdoor sculpture park spans across the property’s acreage. Its picturesque setting of perfectly manicured lawns, trees, gardens, and terraces is located along the banks of Flint’s Pond.

At any given time, there are 60 large-scale sculptures found throughout the grounds. Many of these pieces are on loan from the artists.
