This year, the Cowboy Festival will be back and better than ever, with a ton of events and attractions that are fun for the whole family. Starting on Thursday, October 21, 2021, and running through Saturday, October 23, 2021, come to check out dancers, rope demonstrations, gunfight reenactments, chuckwagon cooking, and so much more.

The festival kicks off on Thursday, October 21, with a Member Exhibition Opening and Gallery Walk. Here members will be able to tour the art gallery, enjoying a reception and conversations with the artists.

Friday offers the Symposium aspect of the festival where visitors can hear lectures from famed Western artists about their artwork and craft.

Then Saturday is when all of the family fun happens. Kicking off with events starting at 9:30 a.m., the festival will showcase Western culture throughout the day.

If you’ve never been to this festival before, then expect to find a wide variety of Western-themed events, including the ever-popular gunfight reenactments.

There are various stations set up throughout the grounds with live demonstrations! Kids can learn all about blacksmithing or throwing pottery from a true professional.

There will also be Chuck Wagon cooking during the event offering a true taste of the west. A sample of the Chuck Wagon food available for purchase includes biscuits, cornbread, beans, pot roast or meat stew, potatoes, and cobbler.
