Typically, people have two reactions to the idea of “glamping.” Some think it sounds like the best of both worlds (spending time in nature while still sleeping in a real bed), while others might not understand the expense. But spend one weekend glamping at Lakedale Resort at Three Lakes in Friday Harbor and you’ll be sold. There really is something to be said about breathing in fresh air and spending time by the lake and following it all up with a soak in a private hot tub.

You’ll find Lakedale Resort at Three Lakes on Roche Harbor Road in Friday Harbor, just a few miles from the downtown area and ferry terminal.

Jessica Wick As the name implies, there are three lakes on this lush green property, and plenty of options for whatever kind of vacation you’re looking for.

You’re certainly welcome to experience some good old-fashioned camping at Lakedale, if you so desire.

Lakedale Resort There are traditional campsites and RV sites available as well as a 1978 Airstream for rent.
