Sometimes the best way to explore a place isn’t by land but by water. On the water, you can see and have access to many things you can’t while on land. At Starved Rock State Park visitors can take an incredible kayak tour through the canyons and past the tall sandstone bluffs that this park is known for. It’s an unforgettable adventure at one of the best state parks in Illinois.
Starved Rock State Park is known for its rock formations, waterfalls, river, and sweeping vistas from overlooks like Lovers’ Leap. While it’s a spectacular place to explore by land, exploring by kayak can give it a whole new perspective.
