Delaware’s Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge may be a popular destination for nature lovers, but Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Milton is a lesser-known gem that is a sprawling haven for migratory birds. The refuge is host to several trails, including a 1.6-mile loop and several boardwalk trails, all of which have a beautiful view of the surroundings!

You’re sure to encounter all sorts of natural beauty on a trek down any of Prime Hook’s gorgeous trails. The trails are suitable for all skill levels and have incredible scenery for hikers to admire!

Nearly 300 species of birds travel through Prime Hook each year. The refuge also houses various mammalian and amphibian species. Nature lovers of all ages can observe plenty of beloved species on hikes through the trails.
