A full moon is, at least symbolically, a time for reflection. Some people consider it a time when strange things happen while others just enjoy the glow of the moon among the stars. Whatever the full moon means to you, you can enjoy it in all of its glory during the Full Moon Fever event series at Keystone State Park near Pittsburgh.
Soak up the beauty of the full moon during Full Moon Fever, a series of self-guided hikes and activities at Keystone State Park, in Derry, that promises a whole lot of fun (and even some learning) for the whole family.

Unlike previous years, the two-hour Full Moon Fever hikes will be self-guided to allow for proper social distancing. However, along the way, you’ll come to stations that will provide you with…

…fun activities and interesting information about the moon. While the event runs for two hours each evening it is held, expect the hike to take approximately 45 minutes to complete.

The evening begins at the entrance of the Visitor’s Center Parking Lot. Just be sure to bring along your sense of adventure, a flashlight to make your hike easier, and plenty of bottled water.
