If you’ve got time, breathe in the crisp, fresh air on one of the trails that wind through the popular state park. For an easy trek, follow the .05-mile Hells Hollow Trail.
All Trails/Giovanni Corona For a real challenge, follow the 6.2-mile Slippery Rock Gorge Trail. It’s considered more difficult but boasts spellbinding views of the fall foliage. McConnells Mill State Park, 1761 McConnells Mill Rd, Portersville, PA 16051, USA
Just 10 minutes from McConnells Mill State Park, Moraine State Park offers sensational views of the fall foliage, particularly as it frames the iconic Lake Arthur. You might want to rent a kayak or a boat to take to the water to admire the fall colors.
