With over 100 beaches, Southern California’s coastal beauty is unlike any place else in the country. And with the region’s high population, many beaches are overrun with people. However, there are several beaches that are tucked away, places that not many know about. If this sounds appealing to you, then maybe you’ll consider taking the Dana Point Trail hike that leads to a secret beach complete with caves.

With such a rocky shoreline, make sure you are wearing proper footwear. Also, check the tides before you visit. You will want to explore the shore at low tide when you can have easier access to the sea caves!
