The business model for Cobwebs Antiques & Collectibles is built around the old saying, “One man’s trash is another’s man treasure.” The word “trash” is somewhat harsh, but the premise is true: If everyone kept everything, Cobwebs would not exist. So the store acquires and sells vintage material of all kinds, filling about 3,400 square feet of retail space on two floors.
Cobwebs occupies the site of the first fire house in Murray. The building is more than a century old, a fitting location for an antiques store.

Cobwebs Antiques & Collectibles is a fixture in the Salt Lake Valley, although the business has relocated from its longtime home in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City. In keeping with the generational theme of antiques, the children of longtime customers have found the new store. The current location is slightly hidden from State Street in Murray, at the east end of a strip mall, with plenty of parking.
