Folly Beach County Park at the very end of Folly Island. The park is open daily from 8 a.m. to sunset.

It features a boardwalk access ramp, beach chair and umbrella rentals, restrooms, showers, and a snack bar.

Plus, lifeguards are on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the weekends from Memorial Day weekend to near the end of September, and weekdays from May 30 through August 14.

Another thing that makes this Folly Beach beach so remarkable is the large number of seashells, fossils, and starfish that wash ashore here. So many, they somehow make their way up in to the trees.
