Bear Hill Trail is a scenic loop hike in Vermont that’s located near Randolph, in Allis State Park. Since the path is just over a mile and the highest elevation is close to 400 feet, it’s a great destination for a family outing, nature walk, birdwatching, and taking photos. And, because the trail is open throughout the year, it’s also a popular hike that draws both locals and tourists.

To get started on your scenic loop hike, set your GPS to 266 Allis State Park Road in Brookfield, Vermont. Once you park your car in the lot, walk to the area to the left of the tower to find the trailhead. Note that while bikes aren’t allowed on Bear Hill Trail, your leashed dog can join you in enjoying spending time in nature.

Be prepared to have your jaw drop when you see the breathtaking views and birds from this vantage point along the trail.
