If you live in Western Washington, there’s a distinct possibility you’ve driven by our state’s tiniest town without even realizing it. But don’t worry, you’re not missing much (unless you love Costco, but we’ll get to that later). Somewhere just off State Route 522 near Woodinville is the 0.6-mile community of Grace, which is home to a dozen of the happiest people you’ll ever meet.
Grace is located just outside of Woodinville, on the King County and Snohomish County line.

Only 12 people call Grace home, and each one of them has a great sense of humor.

Terry Jarvis is the lifelong mayor here, a position he’s held since 1993.

Of course, locals and passersby are welcome to donate to the Bank of Wishful Thinking.

The quirkiest fact about this place is that, technically, it has a Costco.
Town of Grace / Facebook That Costco might have a Woodinville address, but legally, it’s technically in Grace.
Needless to say, the folks in Grace sometimes give Woodinville a hard time.

If you’re considering relocating to the tiny town of Grace, we have some bad news — they cap the population at 12. No one can move in unless someone leaves, which helps them avoid changing the number on the welcome sign. However, you can follow their official Facebook page here.
