If you’re looking for an Arkansas attraction that’s off the beaten path, you can’t get much wackier than Josephine Tussaud Wax Museum in Hot Springs. The museum combines art and history, with over a hundred life-sized wax figures depicting real and fictional people as diverse as George W. Bush and Cinderella. The attractions here run the gauntlet of recorded history, with a recreation of The Last Supper just a few feet away from Lincoln’s assassination.
Josephine Tussaud, great-great-granddaughter of the famous Madame Tussaud, founded the museum in 1967.

The museum’s exhibits are divided into several different worlds. The World of Make Believe features characters from fairy tales like Snow White and Rapunzel. The figures even have props, like Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage!

The museum is home to several presidents. The Kennedy family is pictured here. Each wax figure has a name label in case you can’t figure out who’s who.

The building that houses the wax museum previously was the home of the Southern Club, a popular gambling spot for gangsters, including Al Capone. Fittingly, the museum has a room with a collection of gambling memorabilia.
