A swamp complete with waterlogged trees doles out so many hues of green you’ll won’t be able to count them, even if your try. And the opaque green water is astounding.

Travel on natural sandy path and boardwalks as you make your way from the start of the path over by Highway 17 all the way to the scenic intracoastal waterway nearly a mile away.

The occasional informational kiosk provides useful information about the area and the flora and fauna found here.

And over on the waterway at low tide there is a sandy beach to sit, reflect, and enjoy the view.
