If you’re in the Interior and you’re looking somewhere great to watch the leaves change, the Skyline Ridge Park Trail is the place to go! The park is filled with great hikes for all skill levels. Bring a friend and get out on the trails this fall.

The Skyline Ridge Park is a great place to go to enjoy Alaska’s outdoors.

Rae Keyes / AllTrails There are a number of great trails in the area that allow you to get out and watch autumn arrive in the interior. One of our favorites is the After Dark trail.

This great loop trail is the perfect length to stretch your legs.

Jorge Rosario / AllTrails You’ll hike 2.8 miles total, walking on a well maintained trail. And if you come in the fall, you’ll be able to see the aspens’ leaves change color.

This is a very easy trail, clocking only 544 feet of elevation gain.

Robyne User / AllTrails It’s very kid friendly, so this might want to go on your family outing list. Kids will love running along the trail, and it’s not a difficult one to complete.

You will come across some roots along the trail, even though it’s well maintained.
