Some days are made for easy strolls along the beach, and other days are just crying out for a rigorous hike through the woods. And then there are those days where you want to nab some great views without spending too much time or effort. The Hicky and Peeskawso Peak trail is a great balance of challenge and payoff.
The Hickey and Peeskawso Peak loop trail is located in Monument Mountain Reservation near Stockbridge. It’s a refreshing hike that will reward you with panoramic views.

This trail is rated as moderate and is only 2.4 miles long, meaning it will get your blood pumping but won’t leave you trekking through the woods all day.

The hike itself climbs pretty steadily upwards through shady forest. The terrain can be rocky and you’ll gain about 600 feet in elevation, so be sure to wear shoes with good grip.
