Wyoming is home to some of the most gorgeous landscapes and views in the country. By lacing up your hiking boots and exploring many of the remarkable trails around the Cowboy State, you will find the most stunning, inspiring, and picturesque views around. One trail that is gorgeous from start to finish and that will take you to some of the most breathtaking scenery in Wyoming is the Alaska Basin Trail in Teton Canyon.
The Alaska Basin Trail is a 17-mile loop trail. It is located just west of Grand Teton National Park.

As you begin this hike, you will explore the lush, thick Jedediah Smith Wilderness within the Caribou-Targhee National Forest.

As you hike, you will climb over all types of terrain including large aspen groves, meadows, and bare rock.

While the end of this trail is gorgeous, you will come across many small overlooks as you climb. Make sure you don’t forget a camera.
