If you’re heading to Wyoming and interested in spending some time in nature, plan a day hike to LaBonte Canyon.
Located near Garett, Wyoming, LeBonte Canyon is a five and half mile in and out trail that’s rated moderate. Aside from being an ideal destination for an outdoor hike with your friends and family, it’s a great opportunity to experience nature from deep within the canyon.
Due to weather conditions March through November are the best times to take this hike. And, as long as your dog is on a leash, they can join you in exploring LeBonte Canyon too.
To reach LeBonte Canyon trail, head to Medicine Bow National Forest. It’s about a two and a half hour drive north from Denver to reach the hike.
