There’s just something about the sight and the sound of water that inspires a serene sense of existence. Once you’re nearby, you’ll begin to hear the ribbons of water cascading down the waterfall, which stands roughly eight stories high. The stair-stepped ledges add a wonderful aesthetic to the scene.

As noted, if you’d like a little more scenery to take in on the trail or to simple extend your hiking time a bit, you can head over to just behind the park office to pick up on the Oconee Station Trail, which merges with the Station Cove Falls Trail and leads onto the falls.
