We love preserving history here in Rhode Island, and there’s certainly a lot to preserve. We’re continually amazed by the renovations and renewal of downtown Providence, especially The Dean Hotel. This hip, modern space in a historic setting is absolutely fantastic, and it’s proof you don’t even have to leave Rhode Island to have a stellar vacation.

Despite its beginnings, some rather salacious activity occurred here back in the day.
