Summers were meant to be spent overlooking the water with your toes in the sand. We are well aware that Louisiana’s beaches don’t have the popularity as our other Gulf Coast neighbors, but you may be surprised to learn that Louisiana does in fact have several coastal beaches that are perfect for a day trip. Known as the “Cajun Riveria”, Holly Beach is one of the best beaches in Louisiana, and it’s also one of the best places to hunt for seashells. Grab a bucket and some sunscreen, because you’ll want to spend all day combing the beach at this little slice of paradise.
