Whether you’re a child or an adult, there’s one thing we can all agree on – dinosaurs are awesome! Luckily there are many attractions around the state that feature these prehistoric creatures including pop-up drive-through attractions and more permanent exhibits like Sue the T. Rex at The Field Museum. Located in Volo, there’s another attraction that maybe you hadn’t even heard of yet. Located at Illinois’ Volo Museum, you’ll find Jurassic Gardens, an indoor dinosaur park that’s sure to bring out the kid in everyone who visits.
Volo Auto Museum is a large complex filled with smaller exhibits including Jurassic Gardens, an indoor dinosaur park. Also on the property is the Volo Antique Malls and Showbiz Pizza Place. You could spend all day here in Volo!

Listen to the dinosaurs roar as you read the kiosk at each exhibit. It’s a fun way to learn about your favorites including the Tyrannosaurus Rex and Spinosaurus. With the lighting, realistic plants, and life-like dinosaurs that make noise, it’s a fun, multisensory experience.

You’ll also learn about dinosaur skeletons and fossils. Kids will even have the chance to use the Dino-Dig hands-on exhibit where they can pretend to be paleontologists.
