There’s nothing like spending time outdoors, especially if you venture to Shenandoah National Park. Here’s more on Lewis Spring Falls Trail, a 2.5-mile trek that’s bound to impress.

Today’s Shenandoah National Park adventure will begin at the Big Meadows Lodge. The trailhead for Lewis Spring Trail is just to the right of the building.

Passing through beautiful forests, the trail gradually descends towards the main waterfall. As you get closer to the falls, the terrain gets rockier, so be sure to wear sturdy shoes.

The waterfall is actually the fourth-tallest in Shenandoah National Park; however, most hikers agree that it’s the views, not the waterfall, that make this trail so memorable.
