Long Point Trail In West Virginia Offers A Magnificent View Of The New River Gorge Bridge

The New River Gorge Bridge is hard to miss. It’s one of the longest single-span arch bridges in the world. You’ve most likely seen it…probably more than once. But have you seen it from the overlook on Long Point Trail? Because it’s one of the best views of the bridge (and the surrounding mountains) you can get.

Long Point Trail is a 3-mile out-and-back hike located in beautiful Fayette County, West Virginia.

It’s well worth your time to head out that way: locals and tourists alike agree that the overlook at the end of the trail offers one of the best views in West Virginia!

The trail is well-maintained and generally rated as easy, but there is a short portion of steep downhill at the end to reach Long Point that’s a more moderate hike.
