McKee’s Petting Zoo opened many, many years ago. The founder, Bill McKee, wanted to provide a place for kids and families to interact with and learn all about animals. He started building pens and play areas, and voila, a petting zoo was formed.

The petting zoo is home to a variety of animals including miniature goats, sheep, horses, pigs, and donkeys. Spring and summer is an excellent time to visit since that’s when you can play with the baby goats. Time it right and you can even watch them being born.
