We don’t always have a ton of time to take a break and get outdoors to explore. Fortunately, Missouri’s dotted with short and sweet hiking trails that allow us to spend the little time we do have outdoors. If you want to stroll along the longest river in the U.S., follow the picturesque (and really short) Missouri River Trail.
Running just over a half of a mile (roundtrip) through Weston Bend State Park, the Missouri River Trail is one of those easy trails that’s perfect for a leisurely stroll any time of the year.
