Midway is a small Utah town that’s home to around 5,400 people – many of whom are of Swiss heritage. Every year, the town hosts its Swiss Days celebration, and it’s one of the Beehive State’s largest mountain festivals.
The little town of Midway is surrounded by mountains on Utah’s Wasatch Back. The Swiss immigrants who settled in the area in the 1860s and 1870s may have missed their European homes, but they brought their culture and traditions with them.
