Upon arriving at the Milton House, freedom-seekers were ushered through a secret passageway, which consisted of a tunnel that connected the house to a cabin.

Today, that secret passageway still exists. What’s more, during the museum’s one-hour tour, you’ll get to traverse that very path.

Along the way, you’ll be treated to a detailed account of the house as well as its owners, the Goodrich family, and why they chose to operate the Milton House as a station on the Underground Railroad.
