The Rock Garden was constructed in the 1930s and is over 2.5 sprawling acres. The mature trees provide plenty of shade for the colorful forest plants that grow underneath. It’s so cool in the garden, and makes for a relaxing spot on a warm day!

The contrast of bright colorful flowers against gray and brown rocks makes for a beautiful scene. The textural differences between the plants and rocks are very pleasing to the eye.
