This shop offers more books in one location than we ever thought possible and we think you’ll be just as impressed as we are.

Welcome to Old Number Six Book Depot, located just off Depot Hill Road in Henniker.

The store opened in 1976 and has been operated by Ian and Helen Morrison ever since. That’s more than 40 years of books!

Morrison estimates that the two-story book shop carries about 160,000 titles.

Many of them are hard-to-find books. While at first glance it might seem hard to navigate through all the inventory, things here are actually very well organized.
